A Caring Environment for the Memory Impaired
Loss of memory shouldn't mean loss of dignity, activity, or independence. The Courtyard at The Longview is a specialized residence designed to meet the needs of those with early dementia.
Geared to fostering ability and independence, the Courtyard design considers safety, comfort, dietary needs, and mobility. Special programs and facilities help reduce dementia-related anxiety and enhance memory.
Intergenerational Experiences
The ground level of the Longview includes a child day-care center. Designed primarily for children of the Center's staff, the day-care center provides a unique opportunity for intergenerational programs between the children and Longview residents. Residents may enjoy the benefit of connecting with those of all ages on a regular basis.
